Preparing to Preach

Communicating God’s word includes what we might refer to as preaching, teaching, speaking and sharing (we’ve got a lot of terms for it!) but it isn’t limited to our Sunday morning preaching.

This short course will help to equip you to handle and communicate God's word in various settings, and although we focus on preaching and teaching, many of the principles will be applicable in Radiant Kids, Youth, in a Life Group, or elsewhere. Please be reassured that coming on the course does not mean that you are automatically being signed up to preach on a Sunday morning!  

Some of the specific topics including: Introducing preaching, The content of our message, The Word and the Spirit, Structuring our message & Communication essentials and pitfalls.

Training dates: Wednesday evenings (from 7:45pm - 9:30pm): 21st June through to July 26th [Please accept my apologies if these dates clash with your Life Group, as our Life Groups meet most evenings of the week, so are difficult to avoid.]
